Transfer Rumours – 1 July 2011
July 1st, 2011 by DaveGevinho looks likely to join Arsenal as he think he’ll “fit-in”. We’re not so sure as Gervinho has won a couple of trophies recently.
Charlie Adam will cost Liverpool somewhere in the region of £9m which doesn’t seem entirely in line with Kenny Dalglish’s current transfer policy. Expect Dalgish to stump up £15m to keep his reputation in tact.
Spurs are in the market for a new striker and Harry has got his eye on Athletic Bilbao’s Fernando Llorente. Take your pick from which of the following will leave White Hart Lane: Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavluychenko. Any team interested in securing 5 goals a season could look at potentially buying all of them.
Chelsea have stiff competition from both Liverpool and Manchester City in terms of paying over the odds for players. They’ll send a shockwave to Anfield and Eastlands by agreeing to pay Palermo £45m for Javier Pastore.
That’s all for this week folks. We’ll be back with more agent inspired transfer rumours that will never come true next week!
