Transfer Rumours – 2 January 2012

January 2nd, 2012 by

And we’re back, the transfer window is open so expect plenty of absolute tosh in this section over the coming weeks as clubs try to move players on, agents try to squeeze more money from their clients and newspapers just make stuff up. Here goes…

Lille’s Eden Hazard is attracting a lot of attention from both Manchester United and Arsenal. Hazard would cost in the region of £25m.

The man with the worst goal celebration in the history of football could be on his way back to the Premier League. That’s right folks, Robbie Keane could be heading to Aston Villa on a short term loan deal so we might get chance to see his forward roll one last time.

Roberto Mancini is said to be interested in Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi. Much will depend on whether Mancini can get rid of the sulky Argentinian Carlos Tevez first though.

And finally Liverpool are being linked with Aston Villa’s proven goal scorer Darren Bent. Liverpool will be looking to sap the goals right out of Bent just like they did with Robbie Keane, Dirk Kuyt and Andy Carroll.

That’s all for this week, more trash next week.
