Hot on the heels of Thierry Henry’s return to the club, Robert Pires has been training with Arsenal today.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere revealed the news through Twitter, saying “Of course I am training just to maintain my fitness level! But thanks I appreciate you all want me back at Arsenal!”

Speculation is rife that Pires is about to mark a sensational return to the first team, but Pires responded by saying “Of course I am training just to maintain my fitness level! But thanks I appreciate you all want me back at Arsenal!”

Pires left Aston Villa in May and is currently looking for a new club.
